Farmer committing suicides:- Who is resposible?

In last few days many farmers have committed suicide in Vidarbha region. 12 in last 72 hours and 988 in 2014 in immense grief and proverty. Actually this is not happening this year only but the story of every year. Every year large numbers of farmer have suicide.
India is a country of the Ideology "JAI JAWAN JAI KISAN", but today no one bother about the farmers who provides food and clothes to the whole nation.

Every time when a farmer suicide the govt. announce compensation for their families and dismiss the issues. Every time during election they promise to bring happiness to the farmer family but after election they don't care about this. WHY?
On TV news also there is also no sound about this? WHY?
The answer is WE. Yes, WE are responsible for this condition.
There are 2 questions we must ask ourselves:
1. Why have none of the major media houses reported this on prime time news?
2. Why is it airlines bosses are able to accumulate thousands of crores of debt and still get a bailout, while a farmer , who feeds the nation cannot get a bailout for a couple of lakhs?
And these questions must ask to ourselves.
MEDIA houses seek for their profits, TRP's etc.If media don't think farmer's deaths are TRP material, they are true. WHY? Because we are not interested. When we heard the death's of farmers we did not concern about it. They know that there will not be any candle march or mass protest in any cities or any part of India. They know there will not be huge outpourings of emotion on social media. This is because WE don't care about them.
If the Govt. gets away with these farmer deaths, it is because they know that WE don't care enough to question them on farmer suicides. WE don't vote them against them because of farmer deaths.

Yes, we must ask ourselves these questions. For it is unfair that the hand that feeds and clothes us should be ignored and ill-treated in this manner.

Here is a para of a poem written by Late Shri Krishna Kalamb, Farmer Poet translated into english :-

Different I am,so unusual my life. My death too, will surprise you like untimely rain.
Fond of poetry, I exist like a cotton crop. It's root sweet, alike  the hard stem of sugarcane.
Of my death, they'll say,"how it hangs, like  decorations on doorframes."

I would like to hear from you(readers), what can be done?; what steps can be taken?

Doubly Faced Media :(

On 16th Dec, when militants attacks Peshawar school and killed more than 140 people, at that time the whole media was beating their chest on the name of secularism and coward attacks. But the same media is silent on the attack and killing of more than 70 people in Assam. There is merely news on the channel and also on the social networking.
At the time of Peshawar attack these media were showing repeatedly news, arranges discussion and so on. But this time there is hardly any discussions.
No candle march this time.
Are They not our people?
Are They not innocents?

I don't know why our own countrymen behaves with north-eastern state as stranger. The north-eastern states are integral parts of India and people from there have also same rights and freedom.
But unfortunately they are treated as strangers both by media and the central government also.
If the same accident would happened in J&K then media and govt. would had paid much more attention. But in the case of Assam the central govt. has announced compensation of Rs. 2,00,000 and finished their work.
At the time of Peshawar attack central govt. has announced all possible help but when attacks happened in Assam there is no such initiatives. The govt. has appointed a minister for the north-east but unfortunately there is also no initiatives taken by him.

I can't understand the logic follow by the media and govt. At the time of election each and every party show their support towards the north-east state and blames other parties. But as soon as elections ended they come to their old path and follow the same procedure for the next elections.

Few questions has came in mind:
1.) Is Peshawar is more attached to India than our home state Assam(question from Indian media)
2.) Why govt. is showing only formality?
3.) Why these militants are asking for separate homeland?

As far as media and govt. will behave as stranger with the north-east states these kind of incidents will be happened.
The only way to reduce these types of accident/attacks by developing these areas, providing job chances etc. When we will treat them as the mainstream citizen  these groups will lost their support.

Lets pray for the fallen soul and support for their family.

Anti-Conversion Law: India really need this??

During the current winter session of the parliament one amendment which got to much heat is Anti-Conversion Bill which aimed to stop the forced conversion of religion. As the ruling party announces to produce the Bill in Parliament some parties opposed the move of the govt. Even they had stalled the working of both houses on this issue.
Forced conversions often done with the threatened consequences of earthly penalties or harms. These consequences ranges from job loss and social isolation to incarceration, torture or death.
India is a secular country and the constitution of India gives freedom of religion. Unlike several other countries, in India every citizen has right to pracice and promote their religion peacefully.
India had a long history of conversion right from the Buddhism and Jainism before 200BC till date  .Now a days also forced conversion is practiced by religious groups. They converts religion of the people by force. Sometimes these forced conversions gave birth to communal riots which results to heavy bloodshed. Some examples of the forced conversions are like conversions of more than 100,000 Kashmiri's pandits on gunpoint and those who did not accept were killed without any mercy. Those who managed to escape any how are still suffering. Recently also these forced conversions came in light.
In India relation between politics and religions is too strong. These parties are opposing this Bill because if they support this Bill, their vote bank will be sacked, they will lose their self declared Secular tag.
Recently in Agra some people converted their religion to Hindu then these self  claimed Secular parties lose their minds but at the same time Some Hindu changed their religion none of these parties lose their minds.
This was because if they had make any sound on this conversion their vote bank starts losing. So when the Govt. decided to tabled this particular bill they started opposing.
Several states of India had already passed anti-conversion law for their respective state which results positive in stopping forced conversions.

As far I think India needs anti-conversion law. If any person converts religion on his wish then there is no problem at all.But if they are converted by force then this bill will surely help them. Those groups who are trying to converts people forcefully will stop their idea due to punishment.
But  for this, there is still a long way have to be covered by the govt. in order to pass this bill. Lets hope they succeed in their aim as soon as possible.

GSLV M-III : Another Feather in ISRO's Cap

Today India has launched our heaviest rocket till date. As the GSLV mark III  was successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, scientists clapped and hugged each other in celebration.
GSLV III is the next generation rocket launcher of the GSLV class. GSLV mk III is conceived and designed to make India fully self reliant in launching heavier communication satellites like INSAT-4 class which weigh 4500 to 5000 kg. It also enhances the capability of the country to be a competitive player in the multimillion dollar commercial launch market.

Even more importantly, with the launch of GSLV mark III ,the ISRO has also carried out a human crew module experiment. The crew module is the cabin in which astronauts are housed during space journey . With this launch , the ISRO has successfully tested the ability of  the crew module to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere with thermal resistance , parachute deployment in cluster formation, aero breaking system and apex cover separation procedures.

This success of the launch is a core achievement for the future of Human Space Project.
A few years back ISRO had carried out similar experiment on a smaller scale in which the module had orbited around the earth for 15 days before it enter's the earth's atmosphere.

Days are not far when India will achieved the feat of sending human to the space..

Heartiest congratulation to all scientist and support staff of the ISRO..

Peshawar Attacks- Worst day in History

Yesterday terrorist attacks army school Peshawar in Pakistan which results more than 140 deaths.
Majority of them was students. The only fault of those children was that they were the son of defence personal.
The logic given by the militants was that the defence forces was responsible for killing of more than 600 peoples of their groups so they decided to attack army school and kill them. On one side they described them as protector of the Islam and on the other hand they are killing innocents.

When i come to know about this accident i feel sorry for those innocents children and pray for their soul.

These groups are nourished in Pakistan and mainly used against India. But after yesterday accidents it was proved that they does not care anyone.

After attacks India strongly condemns the massacre. But what Pakistan's peoples does?
They started blaming India for this attack.Even after taking responsibility of attack by Taliban group they are saying that INDIA has funded for the attack.

I cannot understand from where they get this type of news/information? If they have such a strong intelligence why they didn't stop the attack before it took place.?

What they can expect after nourishing various terrorist organisation in their own country ?
They have given shelter and provided security to various most wanted terrorist?

I don't know when they would grow up and start taking responsibility instead of blaming others. This is the high time for Pakistan and peoples of Pakistan to stand against terrorism and take action against terrorism.

Rohtak Incident : Nohting more than publicity stunt

Few day back a video went viral on social media which shows that two girls were beating a guy in the bus. Initially it was reported that the guy was misbehaving with the girls. Media gives to much hype to this news. Effect of news was that  boys got arrested and immediately C.M of Haryana announced bravery award for republic day.
Army cancelled their candidature due to involvement in accident.

Overall girls were praised for their response afterall.

But nobody had interest in enquiring about the whole accident. Neither Police nor govt. or media. They arrested those boys on the basis of the video. Govt. immediately announced award without having the full knowledge of accident.

The actual accident was as reported are:
First of all they were not the passengers of that bus. They got  into the bus when their bus was broken down in the middle.
When they entered they started arguing with an old lady for the seats claiming that they had reserved the seats and show her their tickets(actually the tickets was of the previous bus who broke down in the middle). At that time two boys came in between the argument who were standing in the bus and asked the girls not to argue as the seats was reserved by the old lady. At that they started to argue with boys and started abusing.after sometime they started beating them with belts.

But after few days when another news flashed on channel about the behaviour of the girls it was shocking.
The natives of girls pointed on their character. They said their character were not good, they used to abused others, fight with others. One shopkeeper told to reporter that on asking for the balance money they used to quarrell with him and warned him for complaning against him for sexual harashment.

Even the witnesses of the accident confirm that it was not boy's fault.

Now the Question raised are:

WHY other people does not interferes?
WOULD the accused would get back their job in army?
WHAT govt. was trying to prove in such a hurry in announcing the bravery award?

Compulsory Military Training for Youth

In a good move by govt., the defence minister proposed to give military training to the students of boarder area. Even experts believe that it will helps the civilians to defence themselves in area especially in areas affected by terrorists and moist. Students from these area should be put in training from the middle schools itself. This will not only helps students in understanding the importance of national security, but can also defense themselves from the conditions.
Although NCC training is introduced in schools and collages but this used to train the cadets about the field training. Secondly NCC is not compulsory in schools and collages. it is included as extra carricular activities. There is need to introduce it as compulsory subject in the course.

Today defence minister informed in parliament that it can be included in course as subject. He said that daily one hour training would be held in which students will know about the military and its role. They will also be trained like soldiers.
There is a successful example of military training in Punjab boarder areas in past also where villagers were trained to fight against militants.

As in Indian constitution there is amendment about the compulsory military training like many other countries. But it is not in practice. It is on individual choice about military training.

During my training in NCC we were taught various role of army. They teach us about firing, rescue operations on small scale, aware about the safety taken during any clamities.

Training involves according to the geographical areas in NCC. Like in coastal areas they trained cadets in sea also.
There is need to implement the NCC training extensively.

26/11- Unforgetable Past

Today India is paying homage to the martyrs of 26/11 attack on Mumbai. It was one of the most long  lasting operations launched by security forces to take control over the city.

Six Years ago on 26th November 2008 group of 10 militants attacks Mumbai make hostage the city for 4 days. At least 164 victims were killed including 28 citizens from 10 foreign countries. More than 600 persons were injured
All 10 militants were from Pakistan. They got training from Lashkar-e-Taieba along with the help of ISI. They were divided into 5 groups each having 2 members. They had attacks important palces like Hotel Taj Mahal Palaces and Tower, Oberoi Tridents,Leopad Cafe, Nariman House. They were highly trained by the pakistani intelligence ISI and Lashker-e-Taiba to how to stay alive during operations. The Inquiry committe stated that it was "war like " situations and was beyond the capacity of police force.

One can imagine their training that India had to call their best commandos NSG and MARCOS for rescue operation. before inclusion of commandos mumbai police tried their best to rescue the hostages and to secure the city.During operations they lost their officers like ACP Ashok Kamte, Inspector Vijay Salskar,ATS chief Hemant Karkare,ASI Tukaram Omble, were martyred .
During NSG operations in Hotel TAJ 2 NSG commandos were also martyred. They were Maj. Sandip Unikrishann and Hav. Gajendra Singh.
Only one militant Ajmal Kasab can be captured alive by the security force .This led the pakistani authority on the back foot.
On 21st november 2012 he was also hanged in yarwada jail. This brings the 26/11 chapter close here. This gives affected families a great relief.

Lets pray that God give strength to the family of the affected people.

We will always arise  no matter whatever the conditions will be.

A long wait after "BOFORS"

Today Defence Minister clears proposal to buy 814 artillery guns for around 16,000 crores rupees for army.
As per reports out of 814 guns, 100 are purchased from foreign company while remaining 714 will be manufactured in India by transferring the technology as a part of Make In India program. Indian firms like TATA, LARSEN AND TURBO are supposed to come forward. They can make these guns ny their own technology or they can sign deal with foreign firms and transfer the technology.

As per current situations, it is necessary to upgrade the defence strength. It has been around 30 years when India had last purchased  BOFORS. But this deals became an source of troubles for the govt  due to scam was surfaced. Army was asking for new artillery guns long before as Bofors was outdated. But govt. was postponding the deals as no one wants to put their hands in the deal because it was like putting your hand in the fire bowl as there is a very deep relations between defence deals and scams.
There is a lot of examples like Bofors scam or coffin scam  or very recent VVIP helicopter deals scam. This leads to the misery of the govt.

Due to scams many of defence deals are in wait for many years like purchasing of rafale aircraft for airforce, deals for trainer aircraft, deals of 56 air transport craft. etc.

As our new defence minister has gave clearance for purchasing new artillery guns, it is hoped that other pending deals will also be approved in near future.
It is a good start by the govt. but lets pray that this deals does not postponed by scams because if a fresh scam floats then govt. will not going to clear any deals in near future. As once deals gets disapproved  it takes many years to again clearance..

INS VIKRANT- PRIDE OF INDIAN NAVY

Going through today's news  my eyes stuck on a headlines: "India's first aircraft carrier fades into history.."

India's first aircraft carrier ship INS VIKRANT comes to an end on 21st november 2014 as the worker began scrapping down the warship. INS VIKRANT  was British aircraft carrier which was purchased by India in 1957 in incomplete stage. This was the first aircraft carrier of the Asia at that time.

I am sharing some facts about INS VIKRANT :
1. The ship was being built for British Navy during world war -II. But didn't  complete its construction due to end of war.
2. It was later bought by India in 1957 in incomplete stage and again refitted for the use of navy.
3. It takes four years to complete te construction. The ship was bulid in Britain.
4. It was comissioned in Indian Navy in 1959 and start ins operation in 1961.
5. It plays an important role during 1971 Indo-Pak war and imerging of neew nation Bangladesh. It was the most Glorious Chapter of Vikrant.
6. It was 192 meters long. She had full load of 20,000 tonnes of displacement.
7. Capt. Pritam Singh was the first commander of the ship.
8. Lt. R.H.Tahilinai was the first pilot who landed first aircraft on the carrier. He later appointed as Chief of Naval Staff  in 1984 and retired in 1987.
9. INS VIKRANT was awarded 2 MAHAVIR CHAKRAS and 12 VIR CHAKRAS.
10. It was decommissioned on 31st january 1997 after distinguished service of 37 YEARS. After it serves as musuem at mumbai..
11. After end of 1971 war when it returns, It receives a tremendous love from the citizen. C.M M.G. Ramachandran organised a special program and servedmeal for all crew of INS VIKRANT.

As it was the first carrier in south asia ,it gained much popularity than other carrier in asia.
When the auction for the scrapping of carrier was held by navy it was opposed by the civilians because they want that govt. should preserve the ship for her glorious history. But it was not easy as maintenance cost was high and no private firms were ready to fund it.

It is sad for all of us that we were not able to preserve the ship as museum.

WE WILL MISS YOU "INS_VIKRANT".You will always be the pride of INDIAN NAVY..

498A- Right or Wrong

Read Somewhere that a family was accused false for DOWRY.

Recently cases against boy's family increases. Many of them prove wrong later.

The Anti-Dowry Law(498A) was made for decreasing the cases of dowry. But unfortunately it became an Ultimate weapon for bride's family. A single line complain either in written or orally by wife or her family can land husband and his family into jail without ANY investigation.
Many times girl's family misuse the law. I remember one incident which took place in my village last year.

Last year I went my native place during summer vacation. Suddenly we heard screaming of woman in my neighbor. We rush to her house. After reaching there we see that a woman was injured burned by Lantern accidentally. Fire catches in her Saree accidentally and she was burned almost 60-70 percent.
We rush to the hospital.Next morning her family member came and decided to lodge a complain against the boy and his family for harassing the girl for dowry. They also accused husband for injuring in the night.
But the fact was at the time of accident her husband and whole family went to attend a marriage function in the village. The girl's family were not in the mood of negotiating. They were not to accept the fact.
They lodged the complain for harassing the girl for dowry without even consulting the girl. When Police come to arrest the family, the girl save them and take back the complain.

The anti-dowry law was made for stop the cases of dowry. But unfortunately this law make the husband family to live in the shadow of fear.  Even SC of India has criticized this law.

Recently one film was released which show how to make use of Dowry law against the family.
It does not only ruin the image of the family but also make them accused in the society whether they are or not.
And even those cases proved wrong there is no action against the girl's family.WHY???

The girl's family should think what would they feel when their daughter-in-law lodged a false complaint against them???

Army and Media

Few day back two civilians were killed in firing of army in Jammu & Kashmir.

Initially it was said that army opened fire because they did not stop their car at 3 checkpost. So they decided to fire.

After incident media started claming that they were killed without an proof. If they would be terrorist and succed in their plan then same media would start blaming army.
Political parties and NHRC also started blaming armed forces and demanding for arrest of the army personals. They are also demanding withdraw of the AFSPA which give special power to armed forces to in "disturbed areas".

WHERE was these parties and NHRC when the kashmiries were pelting stones on the soldiers.
Does these soldiers have not any rights?

When any civilians were killed in soldiers firing by mistake media will show repeatedly on T.V and even debate, But when any soldiers martyred they will not debate on this. They just simply show one-line statement at the bottom of the screen.
NHRC never ask reports on the army personal killed by terrorist ,,innocent people killed by Pakistan from across the border...WHY???
Has NHRC ever called for such reports when innocent people are killed by terrorist??If not why??
Are these people does not have any RIGHT?
Why media are not showing other parts of the story that they did not stop on the 3 army checkposts when soldiers signelled them to stop.?
Who gave license to teenagers to drive cars?
They must know that Army is the backbone of the country defence.
Army  is the pride of the country..

We should also praise  our army works because of them we can sleep and live peacefully in our homes..

BAG-LESS SCHOOL

School without Heavy Bags

A school in Kerala doesn't have bag that's breaks back of the children..

A Govt. school LPS Tholikkode in Punalur(Kerala), already earned the title of Bag-lees school, as the student of that school do not have to bring the bag daily. The student were provided two sets of books, one by Govt. and other by the contribution of Parent Teacher Association(PTA).
One set of books are left in school while another will be at home.
They are provided a thin notebook(40 pages) for their homework. School provides light weight bag to carry their pens, pencils, notebooks etc.

This is a welcome step by the school administration. This should be started in another school also. This is a facepalm for the private school. They issue a bunch of books for the student.Even for little kid who are in pre school phase just for the profit they get from the publishers.

I remember my school days, we had given list of books having list of 18 books for six subjects. One was main course book of NCERT and two was reference book from different publishers for ecah subjects. That makes our bag heavy.

But the initiative taken by the school in kerala is a good one. This will encourage others school to follow the path.
Govt. should also encourage this type of method to decrease the burden of kid..

DIWALI

First of all "HAPPY DIWALI" to all..

Today is Diwali, festival of lights celebrated across the country..
IT is the sign of victory of goodness over evil.

People celebrate by lighting Diyas. During using firecrackers we must maintain some preventive measures to avoid accidents:

1.Use earplugs while exposed to explosive firecrackers. It might sound a bit fancy, but if we ignore it the excessive noise might damage our ears in long run.

2.Keep children away from firecrackers. Don't give them explosive firecrackers.

3.Always be with children during fireworks.

4.Always keep First-Aid box near by.

5.Don't apply cream or anything on burnt area.

Try to be ECO-FRIENDLY.
These crackers contains harmful gases which damages our environment.
Also many tragic accident happens every year.

Once again HAPPY DIWALI to all.
May goddess of wealth Show her mercy on everyone.

Wednesday, 22 October 2014

just read :
PM Narendra Modi decides to celebrate diwali in Srinagar with the floods victim..
He announced it on his official twitter account.
After his announcement some people started to link this with politics.
On the other hand some politicians has welcomed this..

I can't understand why they are opposing. One party has said that "its better if they celebrate Eid in J&K".
I jst asked "whether they would celebrate Diwali.."
I think that it is unfair to link all incident with politics.
especially with politicians.
And suppose they r doing for politics, let it be; atleast they r doing something.
atleast this will provide moral boost to the local people and help govt. to establish relations with public directly..
this step of our PM will strengthen the relation and give an advantage over separatist in Jammu & Kashmir....
